NB: For the 2020 instalment of our Strike School see this page here.
Planned events include a series of talks on language and politics, language and prejudice, and other topics related to the strike. In general, it's a good idea to bring a device that can connect to the internet without wifi (e.g. phone, tablet with 3/4g), because some venues may not have a wifi network.
Events will take place after the end of the picket line every day of the strike, starting around 12:30. They will all be located in the neighbourhood of Chandler House.
Finally, we'd like you to know that the pubs are letting us have their space for free. We'd like to thank them and encourage them to support good causes in future, so buy a drink for a student, lecturer, or colleague, buy something to eat, and let them know you appreciate it.
Come chat with your lecturers, learn something new, and support the strike while you're at it!
